A Passion for
Development

preschools Parklands

Our early childhood development centre is built around our four pillars of faith, family, excellence and diversity, and we ensure this is seen in everything we do! At CBC St John’s, our Little Saints learn through play and experience, and benefit from a creative education that encourages children to use imagination and critical thinking.

We offer a 3-year curriculum that has been thoughtfully designed by merging the very best of the CAPS curriculum and the principles of self-discovery learning. As one of the leading independent preschools Table View offers, we strive to go above and beyond what is required, giving learners the best foundation for their schooling.

Learning
Through Play

05LITTLE-SAINTS_img2

We believe children learn through play and experience. To support their learning needs, we offer a creative education that allows our children to use imagination and critical thinking to create new and meaningful ideas where they can take risks and become independent. This teaches them to innovate an array of solutions to problems and conceptualize out-of-the-box solutions.

We encourage children to express themselves freely using various media, from water, paint and clay to box construction! This holistic approach to development allows each child to find their own way, within the safe space of the boundaries around them.

Developing
Critical Thinking

02ABOUT_img5

We use a restorative justice system to deal with any disciplinary issues that arise. This system allows our Little Saints to ponder why they may have behaved in a certain way, rather than simply receiving a punishment that may leave them feeling confused and excluded. This discipline method aims to help them decide whether there is a better way to behave, what impact their behaviour had on others and how others may have felt about it. It also helps the children under our care take responsibility for their actions and ponder how they can behave differently in the future.
