Class of 2008 ('The Saints') - 100% Pass

We congratulate our OBE ‘guinea pigs’ on their excellent results, the culmination of their journey in the National Senior Certificate.

They have coped with a system which has seen the demise of higher and standard grade and the implementation of new subjects. With the help of their dedicated and talented teachers, they have achieved a superb set of results. I take this opportunity to thank the teachers of CBC St John’s for their unflagging commitment to their students. They too have had to cope with the vagaries of the new system, which has been in flux constantly, necessitating flexibility and creativity. They have ensured that their students were as prepared as possible for these examinations.

• There are no aggregates.
• University Entrance (formally Matriculation Exemption)is now called ‘Admission to Higher Education – PASS BACHELORS’
• Admission to various diploma courses is called ‘Admission to Higher Education – PASS DIPLOMA’
