LITTLE SAINTS

Welcome to the Little Saints

Little Saints Early Childhood Development offers four grades for ages 2-6: Grade 000, Grade 00, Grade 0 and Grade R.

Our programme offers the very best of self-discovery learning and we aim to raise polite, dynamic thinkers who will go on to make a real difference in the world.

Here, we offer your child the very best holistic education to effectively prepare him/her ready for Junior School.

With three schools on one campus, our dedicated staff ensures that the transitions between the various grades and phases are effortless.

Our Early Childhood Development centre is built around CBC St John’s four pillars of Faith, Family, Excellence and Diversity and we ensure that this is seen in everything that we do.

It runs from 7:00 to 18:00 daily. Meals are provided and are included in the cost as well as different activities each day such as a treasure hunt, face painting, bicycle days, water fun days, making and baking activities, jumping castles and arts and crafts. Please note that there is an additional fee for Holiday Care.

OUTINGS & EXTRA MURALS

Outings and Extra Murals

Grade 0 and R pupils go on one outing per term of which one of the highlights is the bus ride! We only hire buses with seatbelts, and make sure that each child is belted in securely before we leave. Some of outings have been to the following venues: the Aquarium, the Planetarium, the Iziko Museum, Green Point Park, the Baxter Theatre and a domestic animal farm in Durbanville.

The Grade 000s and 00s are too small to go out, so visitors are invited in. These include puppet shows, the Lilliput Players, Drum Kidz and the Reptile Man to name a few. Once a term, all the grades get together for one show or visit.

Extra murals take place after school. An updated programme can be obtained from the College.

UNIFORMS

Uniforms

Our Preschool uniform is practical and hard wearing. It consists of a navy T-shirt with the Pre-School logo, navy shorts with white takkies or brown leather sandals in the summer. A long sleeved T-Shirt, a fleecy sweat shirt and navy tracksuit pants are added in the winter months. These are available from ARC Sportswear in Killarney Gardens.
